Bare Bones Youth summer 2015 production

Goodrich Village Hall from Thursday 20th to Saturday 22nd August

Curtain-up is at 7.30pm and admission at the door is just £5. (£3 for under 16s)

Our young people will present three short plays at Goodrich Village Hall from Thursday 20th to Saturday 22nd August.

The first of these, "Pictures", sees twenty schoolchildren looking at two canvasses in a municipal art gallery. They are charged with recording their reaction to two very different works. The reactions of two young lads show that opinions and approaches are as diverse as the works themselves.

The second play, "Kevin", is set in a youth drama group session.  The group members perform a short piece where drama strikes an everyday scenario established aboard an aircraft bound for Venice.  The drama of this makebelieve scene is interupted by the very real drama of Kevin.

The final piece, "Billy",  is a tale of the old Wild West.   Unashamedly borrowing from all the old cowboy films the author ever saw, we follow the fortunes of white hatted Billy and his determination to marry his girl despite the threats of black hatted Miller.

All three of these short plays were written by Dave Baldwin specially for this cast of young actors.
